Dotty 6

This week the class have learnt and played a maths game called 'Dotty 6'. It could easily be played at home!

We started by watching the video on this link and discussed the rules for the game.

Everyone then played the game with a partner.

Then we adapted the game to make our own version, 'Dotty 10', using two 1-6 dice. This didn't work very well as it was too hard to win!

Finally, all of the children worked to create their own versions of the game by either changing the type of die used, the number of dots needed in a square or both.
