Researching famous explorers

We started the lesson by looking at one of the essential questions: How has exploration changed? The students shared their initial ideas on the subject then worked with a partner to research an explorer on 'Pebble Go Biographies'. Once their research was complete they joined with another pair to share information, before discussing it with the whole class. Tomorrow we will look into some famous space explorers before having another think about the essential question.
